First Pixel Shooter is a first person shooter that was in development from January 5, 2012 - March 20, 2012. It was my first FPS game, and during the beginning of the project my knowledge of development was almost laughable - textures weren't in powers of two, draw distance check in Draw event, and other nightmarish experiences. Overall, the response to the game was generally positive.
The game follows the perspective of many soldiers of the Blue Army and even one of the opposition. The story follows a mission basis, and was meant to be a spin off of wisemeat56's Blobland Wars. First Pixel Shooter features many other modes, including 'Arena', a mode where you can play various gameplay types like Deathmatch and Capture the Flag against bots. 'Survival' is a wave based mode that is endless. Players race against the clock through the entire game in 'Time Attack'. Using the Level Editor, players can create their own intricate levels to play and share.
